ULTRA-PURE WATER

Most people involved in cleaning, in one form or another, do their best to reduce the use of chemicals. With the Ecolabelling, progress is well underway, but here at Innostream, we can now take the issue of the environment to a whole new level. Our filter units produce extremely clean water, so called ultra-pure water, which means that you can completely remove all chemicals from daily cleaning. We simply make chemicals a non-issue and guarantee you a non-toxic environment!

In addition to allowing the cleaning to be carried out in a more environmentally friendly way, the cleaning surface does not absorb new dust as easily because no residual chemicals remain after cleaning. Additional benefits are:

Better working environment for cleaning staff

Ultra-clean water is totally harmless to touch and to inhale when spraying, i.e. there is no risk of allergies.

Better cleaning results/quality

No chemicals in the cleaning water means no chemicals remain on the surface after wiping / mopping.

Less waste, storage requirements and transport

No chemicals really means that the cleaning is carried out in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.

Simpler cleaning routines

Not having to constantly measure out chemicals allows significant time savings.

All surfaces can be cleaned with ultra-clean water, such as floors, tables, shelves, mirrors, glass sections, computer screens, stainless steel, etc. When staff need ultra-clean water, they run tap water which passes through our filter unit in real time, and they can then fill ultra-clean water directly into either spray bottles, cloth and mop containers or floor scrubbing and combination machines.

But does cleaning with ultra-pure water really work?

The answer is yes. That is because the surface tension of the water makes it possible. Or rather, the lack of such tension. The greater the surface tension, the harder it is for water to mix with oil, for example. The hydrogen and oxygen molecules as well as all the minerals in the water are polar, which means that they are electrically charged and therefore the water molecules closest to the surface generate an inward force and form a "membrane" against other entities which are not polar, e.g. oil / fat. But the softer the water is, the lower the surface tension becomes (weaker membrane). And ultra-pure water is the softest water available.

Another way to explain the difference between how soft and hard water behaves is how the water feels against your skin when showering. Showering in soft water makes the water feel more slippery / slimy. It may feel as though the soap or shower gel hasn’t rinsed off the skin, but it has. It is the water itself that feels like that. This is because soft water has a lower surface tension and therefore penetrates / clings to the skin more easily. You could also say that soft water "wets" the skin better than hard water.

OK, SO YOU WANT TO TRY DETERGENT-FREE CLEANING BUT WHY CHOOSE US?

Because we know what we’re doing. We have manufactured ultra-clean water filters for window cleaning and facade washing for 10 years. Now that the method is ready to be used for indoor cleaning, we take the accumulated knowledge with us.

KNOWLEDGE

We have the knowledge. For example, window cleaning filter units unfortunately do not quite reach the high standard of cleanliness required for indoor use. Therefore, we use a different type of filter material in our indoor filter units.

SUPPORT

We provide support all the way. Since cleaning with ultra-clean water is a relatively new method, it is incumbent on a manufacturer to provide substantial support for their products. Questions from the end user usually arise both before and after installation.
